Knowledge, Apply, Success

This is one of those in the middle of the work shift type posts.

Goodness, the need for a change in the work scene and tasks are in order for my life. Don’t get me wrong I want to continue to have the top of the line insurance with the same provider but truly be able to afford the cost for myself.  You know what that means, right?  It means more financial freedom, minimal health care stressing, and the ability to make more moves that aren’t tied down to a particular office and location. And a major thing is that it also gives me more flexibility daily and more secure boundaries.  Because the current shifting of seesaw energy is not going to work… It’s doing too much on the mental, physical, and emotional.  My response is not indulgence in the dark side but more of I’m just sick of what needs to be changed and it’s beyond time to make it happen.

Moving on to the message that I wanted to share for today though. Success.com has great articles and I wanted to share one that’s a game changer if you apply it to your life. Take what you need and share it with others. It dealt with a list of ten things that highly successful people never do…. get your pens and paper… Here it goes…

  1. Return to what hasn’t worked
  2. Do anything that requires them to be someone they are not
  3. Try to change another person
  4. Believe they can please everyone
  5. Choose short-term comfort over long-term benefits
  6. Trust someone or something that appears flawless
  7. Take your eyes off the big picture
  8. Neglect to do due diligence
  9. Fail to ask why they are where they find themselves
  10. Forget that their inner life determines your outer success

I know, I know. Good stuff right.

This should lend to some vital time of reflection and re-assessing. Fix what needs to be done immediately because that constant see-saw internally is not healthy. We have to learn to apply the knowledge we gain or it’s useless. And as for me, I’m over that waiting and hoping it “changes itself.” Forget that!  Time for progress.

Full steam ahead…. Until next time…
