“Ok, But First Coffee”, I cosign that one. I’ve had my morning Java. Have you? And if you like the cup on this picture, click on it and it’ll take you to Effie’s site where there are more goodies to indulge in. Personally, I love it. Why not share the love with you?
On to more sharing of what I’m digging for the day and upcoming weekend.
Let me start out with a book that I have been letting pour into me for a while now.
It’s by the humorous and wonderful Steven Furtick, Sun Stand Still. Also, I like the cover as well. As I always share quotes from reads that I engage in, here’s one from the book:
“The goal of faith isn’t to take away your fears but to leverage those fears to create bolder belief. Faith leads you past your fears and reassures you of God’s presence. And after a while, you begin to trust that God is going to lift you above the waves this time just like he did last time.”
Soooo, since I’ve finished the above read, I’m diving into a book that I’ve had a while but haven’t truly had the chance (well, set aside the time) to invest in like I truly desired to. It was received as an advanced reader copy but it’s now on the shelves, in case you want to get it as well. The book is called Soar by T.D. Jakes. Considering the massive exposure of the author, you’ve probably already heard of this one. It’s geared more toward the entrepreneur side of things which is my ultimate goal… Full-Time Entrepreneurship Packaged With Financial Freedom. Yep, I will achieve it. “God is the ultimate strategist and opens doors that no human could have opened.” Yes, indeed and this audacious faith and vision will succeed. His Will. His Way. His Time. May I be blessed to be a blessing. Oh, let me drop the cover beneath so you can soar too.
I want to also drop a line in your lap that I heard this morning. The gist of the message was that you are the most vulnerable in the area wherever you place the greatest value. Hmm, so what do you think? This rings true in my book. In the name of vulnerability, can you guess what area that is? My Heart!!! Yep, I’m sure you’ve seen that and the beating that it’s taken as I learn balance and application techniques in this area. The martyr like vibe within me has to leave that job for the Almighty. It’s too great for myself but the empathy and love are real. Strength and wisdom always gained… Proceeding with a guarded heart, clear mind, and audacious faith. What do you think about that message of vulnerability and value?
Now, for a bit of humor… I’m a bit corny so I may be the only one that finds the humor. So, the story of Job in the Bible… God and Satan are chatting and God offers up Job’s name in the convo. This was funny to me because if I was Job looking on the convo, my thought would be “so, um, how are you just going to throw me out there like that? I was fine praising you and living for you. But no, then you had to throw me out there in your convo with Satan. Come on, G.” See, the many stories in the Bible kind of appear as movies to me and can be humorous… Just me? Okay, that’s perfectly okay.
Alright, I’ve written enough for the moment so I’ll just drop a song and skedaddle on with my day. Let the lyrics marinate within. Enjoy your day. ❤️💕
