Saturday Reflection

This week had it’s ups and downs but I survived it with so many moments to be grateful for!!!

A new approach was applied by writing out my weekly goals Monday and giving it my best to stick with it. There was so much clarity in focusing on my Top 3 Priorities for each day, as well as time each day for Play (mental or physical), Push (one thing outside of my comfort zone or that I’ve been meaning to do), and Fit (healthy me). I even penciled in moments of solitude in order to regroup, recharge, and just Be.

Needless to say. my nine class assignments were completed three days early. Yesssss. *shimmie* I was able to enjoy a movie in solitude under my soft cover with a cup of coffee. I woke up at 4 am four of those days for spiritual inspiration, a little later waking up on the other ones but got it in. So, so grateful for the peace and direction to start each day. I even completed two phases of website testing. Woot woot.

The setting boundaries and focusing weren’t the easiest but it was rewarding. Although, I desired time with some people, I valued my investment in self more. It gave me the clarity I needed and the added energy each day.

Another thing I’m truly proud of is setting a goal to code for 30 minutes today. Well, in between the busy flow of the job, I managed to log over 3 hours of coding. This alone inspired me to get it going for the 100 days of coding. Why not?

As I lay here, I’m grateful at the urge to write more to unclog a heavy heart and mind while striving for more. I’m grateful for the people in my life who consistently bring the best version of themselves. I’m grateful for my present positioning even though it’s hard. It’s going to be okay and I’m going to continue to shoot for my goal. Success will be mine. I’ve already accomplished so much.

Well, I hope your week was rewarding as well. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great upcoming week.
